Our therapists are person-centred, providing individualised and innovative therapy services to our clients. We aim to understand you as an individual and work together to ensure what we do during therapy translates to support you in your everyday life. Our approach is to work as a team and empower our clients to challenge themselves to reach their goals, aiming to improve independence and quality of life whilst focusing on treating the person, not the condition.
We understand the physical aspects of rehabilitation and the emotional and social attributes including building confidence, friendships, peer support, and so much more. My Therapy therapists work together with our clients, their families and carers focusing on building a community within the My Therapy family.
Our therapists provide individualised therapy following initial goal setting, assessment and analysis to support you in achieving your goals.

I have worked with Kate for many years as my physiotherapist, and prior to that as my support worker. During this time Kate has assisted me working within a team of health professionals to support me.
I have a very high-level spinal cord injury, as a C1 quadriplegic I have no ability to move any part of my body below my neck. Kate has assisted me with my physiotherapy, training my staff to complete my home exercises, as well as with the use of technologies such as Virtual Reality and functional electrical stimulation to achieve my goals and she is always looking for innovative ways to continue to support me, which has allowed me to do and experience new things.
Kate thinks outside of the square and not only understands my goals but also me as a person.
I would highly recommend anyone with a disability looking for a physio that can support, encourage and work with them to achieve their goals to contact Kate at My Therapy.
ShaneI have known Taylah since she became my Therapy Assistant in February 2022. Taylah came to My Therapy with a diverse employment background however working as a Therapy Assistant in the disability industry was a new venture for her.
Taylah’s position involves working with individuals with varying types and levels of disability. Therefore, beginning her new position gave her an insight of how people with disabilities living in the community go about their daily tasks. During her induction with a My Therapy physiotherapist she observed and became to understand the reliance these individuals have on professional therapy to allow to them to function to the best of their physical ability.
Taylah now works autonomously with clients in the community and at the My Therapy clinic, and as a team member in the clinic as required.
I have a weekly individual workout with Taylah, and she assists me during a weekly Monday group therapy session at My Therapy clinic. My individual session consists of boxing and weights. Being a C5/6 quadriplegic, my routine focus is on increasing my upper limb and core strength as well as improving my endurance.
Taylah has good knowledge of the body muscle function, the exercises in my routine are changed at her discretion to engage different muscles affording me a more extensive workout. This approach also ensures the sessions do not become monotonous. She encourages me to push through exercises when I would otherwise have a break.
In the time Taylah has been my Therapy Assistant I have gained measurable improvement in my upper limb strength, cardio capacity, and core strength.
Taylah has mentioned to me and at our Monday group that her role as Therapy Assistant is the best career move, she has made. She is diligent, caring and upholds the My Therapy work ethic. She finds assisting others striving to improve their quality of life self-fulfilling.
WallyKate has been my physiotherapist for the last couple of years following my stroke. After my stroke I was unable to walk or use my left arm, which had a big impact on my life and what I could do. Kate took the time to learn about me, my hobbies / interests and my goals and what was important to me, making a plan to help me get back to doing the things I enjoyed. I am now walking again at home and in the community, I enjoy trail walks and have even started learning to run again, which is something I didn’t think I would be able to do!
I have found Kate to be positive and motivating, she continues to support me with my physiotherapy, as well as linking me in with other therapists and services to further support my goals of using my arm again and being able to return to work. Kate considers all aspects of me and my rehabilitation and continues to go above and beyond to help me achieve my goals.
MichaelI first met Bronagh when I was referred to the clinic requiring extensive post operative rehabilitation. I was hesitant at first due to previous experiences with another provider however I am so glad that I have found MyTherapy.
Bronagh has been a great support to me so far and has aided in liaising with the other members of my healthcare team, like my GP. Bronagh and her team have personally tailored my rehabilitation in line with my end goal of returning to work. I have truly felt like she has treated me with compassion and understanding throughout my treatment sessions. I felt like my worries were listened to and the team actively sought options to alleviate my concerns. MyTherapy has been excellent at providing support both mentally and physically during my rehab journey which I am grateful for. Bronagh has provided me with a rehabilitation treatment plan that is holistic and considers my existing health concerns. She has provided me with adaptations that enable me to complete exercises that previously I have been unable to do. For example providing assisted Hydrotherapy sessions which I have found to be of great benefit to me, Bronagh has consistently gone above and beyond to aid me in my recovery.
I would 100% recommend the MyTherapy clinic as an existing client. The clinic, and especially Bronagh, are absolute professional’s that have provided me with an encouraging and kind atmosphere to complete my rehab. I have done and will continue to recommend the MyTherapy clinic to my friends, family and future clients with the utmost confidence that they will be in great hands.
CarolI am 56 years old and have visited many therapists since I suffered an accident when I was 16 years old which left me with right side hemiplegia.
My experience with Bron has changed my life. They not only look after my physical health but my mental health and in the year that I have been with them, it has been extraordinarily successful dealing with both. It has always been two steps forward and one step back, but we continue to still move forward and, she keeps informed with other people involved in my care. Bron is very successful in explaining things to me so that I can understand everything I’m doing and the reasons for it. This, in my mind, helps with the mechanics of why we are doing things.
The first visit with Bron, she came to my house, and she got a 56-year-old basically doing finger painting. I could not believe that this was an acceptable form of therapy but after it was over, I had a full understanding of why and was so amazed at what I was able to achieve. Since then, whether I see Bron at home, the Pool or at the clinic, I come away with such a great sense of achievement and that we will get to achieve my goals as they come up.
If you need help, whether it is a new injury or an old injury, I recommend that you should visit My Therapy for their approach to your care.
